Rugiet Health exists because the standard of care for men's sexual health wasn't good enough — and four people decided to do something about it.

The Problem We Set Out to Solve

Here's the thing: that was over two decades ago.

Medical science has advanced enormously since then. But the ED treatment market? Not so much. We looked at all of this and thought: there has to be a better way.

How Rugiet Health Was Born

Rugiet Health was founded by four college friends who went on to build careers in pharmacy, medicine, engineering, and investment. They came together around a shared conviction: that patients deserved more than what the market was offering.

The breakthrough came when co-founder and pharmacist Dr. Ken Bains developed a sublingual compound combining sildenafil and tadalafil — a formulation that dissolved under the tongue, absorbed directly into the bloodstream, and worked in a fraction of the time traditional pills required. When the group saw what it could do, they knew they had something worth building around.

So they built it properly.

They developed a secure, advanced digital health platform. They contracted a network of board-certified physicians to prescribe through it. They designed a patient experience that treated men with dignity rather than embarrassment. And they refused to launch until every piece of it — the science, the technology, the care model — met the standard they'd set for themselves.
