Asim Roy, MD
Telehealth Physician & Board-Certified Sleep Medicine and Neurology Specialist
Dr. Asim Roy is a board-certified neurologist and sleep medicine specialist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex sleep disorders, including insomnia, narcolepsy, obstructive sleep apnea, and hypersomnolence disorders. He currently serves as Medical Director and Research Director of the Ohio Sleep Medicine Institute and is an Associate Professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
Dr. Roy completed his neurology residency at Georgetown University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident, and went on to complete a fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Neurophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. His academic career has included faculty appointments at Tufts University and the University of Pittsburgh.
In addition, Dr. Roy is a highly active clinical researcher and serves as a principal investigator on numerous national and international studies focused on narcolepsy, sleep apnea, hypersomnia, and emerging sleep therapeutics. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with subspecialty certification in Sleep Medicine.
